Family Link staff support, educate and advocate for families who have a family member with mental unwellness or addiction.

We facilitate support groups and a Family Connections program for families who have a loved one experiencing emotional dysregulation or Borderline Personality Disorder.

We produce a monthly newsletter and we have a small library of books on mental unwellness and addiction.

We are a free service and are funded by the Ministry of Health.

Frequently asked questions

Most participants are adults; however, youth are welcome to participate. All teams have a mix of female and male players and we supply the referees. All you need to do is turn up with your team and play!

If you’re keen to take part but don’t have a team you can submit your interest with us and we’ll do our best to find one for you. Registering your interest does not guarantee you a place, but we will do our best to get you in a team playing your preferred sport on your preferred day.

Social sports leagues are a great way to keep active while having fun and socialising with others. You can join no matter what your skill level.

Leagues range anywhere from 8 – 15 weeks depending on the time of year and the elected sport. All leagues culminate in a final for all teams followed by a prize giving. The cost to register your team depends on the length of time the league runs.
